Go ahead and believe that. If your personal credit is lacking and these are the only programs you can get a truck through you will be paying for it in higher interest rates. That is why the "lease purchase" option traps so many people that want a truck into signing up for what we all know is a bad deal, but there is no shortage of people lining up to take those deals.

Just because they offer you a deal and your credit is bad, that does not mean they ignore your credit. Then again many of those places would still offer that same crappy deal to a person with great credit, it's just how they operate. Why would they sell to someone they know will make the payments and deny themselves the good chance of repo'ing the truck and selling it over and over?

Sorry if you find this not to your liking but it is how it works, there are plenty of unscrupulous companies out there that take advantage of people who will do anything to say "this is MY truck". It's the USA and we are all free to make all the bad decisions we want.

 

Do any of them have infrared sensors? You could put one under the hood to see what parts fall off each week, not that anything like that would ever happen to YOU.

 

Who the hell wrote the new contractor web page? Right now I find it to be all but worthless. Cannot see how to sort locations by what is closest to my origin point. Cannot scroll down through all loads like before, can see a max of 20 then have to click a button to continue. This is going to be a real pain to use on a phone or other mobile device.

Has anyone else checked this out yet?

 

More on the new contractor web. I cannot input load info on my phone or tablet at this time, cannot select the origin state from the drop down list. I wrote a rather pointed letter to tech support and I'm sure they will not be happy with my comments. Did anyone hear of any testing being done with this by actual drivers? Maybe my needs are different that others, I don't know, but being able to sort based on distance from origin seems to make a whole lot of sense to me rather than alphabetical by cities, or order number, yeah, that's a useful one for us.

If anyone has issues please mail tech support and lets flood them with our complaints. Hope I'm not the only one that thinks this is a major step backward.

are you signed up to receive email from Mercer? that was a bit confusing at first because that is a different email address than I had in the old web page. I had to change to the one I receive mail from Mercer at.

I don't want to give out details of the page address and how to login here. I got my email from Mercer at 11.48 today so you may want to check all your accounts again, or call and get login information.

I really want to hear what others think about this new page.

 

So I'd say we have a driver tester. @roshea do a good job and work all the bugs out for the rest of us.
