I just graduated from school so I haven't done my hazmat...and I've driven enough to pass my cdl test but by no means would I consider myself a truck driver. What is the road test like?

 

Easy...leave the terminal on surface streets, get on the Interstate, off the Interstate on the other side of the terminal then surface streets back to the yard. You don't have to be perfect, especially if you're just starting out.

 

Trucks are 10 sp or Auto But you test in a 10..it's a short easy cruz just do what you were taught & breath :^D shoot my test run was horrible haha I had been in a 13sp for 4 yrs then before that an 18 so I hadnt driven a 10 since 2006 haha I kept trying to shift for a 13...these Paccars took me a minute to get used to but you'll do fine :^D Good Luck & Welcome

 

Just control the truck. That's all they are looking for... your trainer can teach you everything else.
When I took mine, he told me to relax about 2 blocks into the test drive. Said I obviously knew how to control the truck. That I passed...now just drive.
Easy streets in Fargo. Nice and wide, so don't hit any curbs and make your turns right and your golden

 

Trying to remember about Milanese Forest Park ga.
Do I park on the street and call them and they call me back with a door?

I just came out of orientation Wednesday. Monday your greeted by H.R. and Tony and then you go into the orientation room and meet Mark. Monday consist of paperwork, intros, and lectures and videos. Tuesday is road test and drug test and physical if you don't have a long form. After road test more safety and the beginning of Haz Mat lectures. Also note there was only two in my orientation class, so we moved quick.
Wednesday we went to corporate and met Nick and learned the people net and the magnum employee website. After that we had to the shop and get our truck assignments. Meet the shop crew and learn the shop protocol. Once all that is done your pretty much riding into the sunset.

 

Arrived 0030 for my 0200 dlv appt. home at 0145

 

I'll be starting orientation February 6th too!
