2004 C15 MBN LOSES POWER BAD FUEL AVERAGE

He's an hour away from me. mechanic plugged it in and isn't showing any codes. getting a normal 6nz tune to see if truck will stop derating. i had a mbn coronado that i sold last month. it didnt derate but got 5.7mpg-6mpg condo. im thinking of getting the bigger roof fairing over the little factory peterbilt one. i know im gonna loose some of the look aspect but i neeeda make some money with it to start spending on it .

 

im getting new injectors now. three were bad mechanic said. the roof fairings going to kill the pete look but i'm getting one mounted in january.

 

hey guys. well 2 days ago i changed the injectors of the truc . still smokes the same. mechanics like rebuild the head. do you guys think it will be the head? it doesnt lose any coolant

 

he opened it up and the head had to minor cracks so im like ill just get those fixed. hes like the head gasket was bad. i got the 6nz tune ran a load to kentucky before the break. truck would derate but it felt more free. i didnt get to drive the truck after the injectors since it was in the break. we seen it smoke the same after truck cooled down we just opened up the head. now its sent to be rebuilt. we put rebuilt injectors all 6.

 

also i need to get a new plate for the head. mechanic said the piston sleeb hit it and said it cant buff out need to buy one. i should have took pictures. i think shops shut down for these 2 days. so i think ill have to make the monday run in my 04 columbia.
