IMG_1962.JPG My c model has a old style damper on it that I can see wobble while the engine is running. I have a used CAT #7e9520 damper with plate that I am curious to know will fit on this 3zj 3406c. The damper is off the 5ek 3406e I used to own. If looks like the aftermarket dampers that fit all 3406/c15 engines

Will it fit, yes it will.
Would i use a 20 year old used damper on my engine.
    Nope.

Just put a new viscous style damper on your C. Last time i checked $600 was it.

I would not chance a old used 20 year old damper on your engine. For all you know the liquid inside the damper could be hard.

Don't be foolish. Get a new vibratech from pits power or pdi or where ever they are sold. If that damper is as old as the one your taking off your just wasting your time!

A used damper to replace a used damper. I don't think so. I have an old 2 piece off a 3ZJ. I changed it because it was old. If anybody wants it just pay the shipping and it is yours. No warranty, expressed, implied, unwritten or thought by you to exist.

We are just after your best interest.
When it comes to harmonics and crank shafts you really dont want to cheap out. Cranks do break.
