    U bet.
A former coworker of mine, who quit from here and lives in W Mass. said he's making $27/hr hauling for Old Dominuion (sp) from a yard in W. Mass. He tells stories so not sure if that is true.

I'm not happy where I'm at so I've been calling around and it seems several places have seats to fill. And, as you are doing, ya gotta be careful to check them out before you hire on.

I've been reading all this and I see where guys are struggling to make 1200 to 1500 a week driving a truck it seems. So I'm going to post some info for anybody that might wanna know. I have only been driving 6 months. I retired from army 6 months ago. I went to drive for Schneider, driving tanker.. I figured I would just go with who I thought would train me the best and get my experience and move on to different company later. But I honestly don't think I can make much better than I am right now unless I get really lucky or something. I can post pics of my pay to prove also. Most my weeks are atleast over 1300 dollars. And even the week I'm on rte now as I ended it yesterday which was a Saturday at 4pm I'm over 1425 for sure for the week. I occasionally have a week where I make 1200 but that is usually because I had to turn a long load down to get a load heading back to Charlotte to go home. I started driving tankers with no experience at 46 cents a mile, loaded:empty or bobtail, I got raise to 47 per mile couple weeks ago at my 6 month mark. And a raise coming at 12 months also maybe 2 cents more. I do run my ### off, snbc has a lot of customers so i never hardly wait for a load and sometimes I drive 1200 miles empty just get loaded which I love cause it's 47 cpm anyway I go. I do work my ### off for my 1300s and 1400s pay checks. I don't lay up in truckstops or bull crap around. I drive atleast 600 miles a day governed at 63 mph, u do the math. I push my 11 hour every day. But I enjoy 280 dollar days. Loading pay is 25 dollars and after 2 hrs only 10 a hour detention, I sit in truck during loading and rarely takes over 1.5 hrs. Unloading i air off or rarely pump off or the customer does it all. Pays 35 for unloading/after 2 hrs 10 a hr. Rarely ever takes me over 2 hours. I bust my but, get to consignee and air my load off and I'm gone to tank wash to stop and hook off to next load. I'm otr tanker, I stay out 3 weeks and take off 1. You can have 6 days off a month however u want em. Better money at staying out 3 weeks at a time I believe. Now i posted this info cause I'm a newbie trucker but I'm making pretty dang good money with a starter company people usually call it. I might not stay here forever but u can make descent money pulling tankers hauling chemicals for snbc. I seriously can show u pay stubs if don't believe me

If you have good knee pads, you could be in management at MBI in short order. JMO.

No way you made 12 to 15000 with mbi unless you were a o/o
You must have been an O/O because there's no way you made 12 to 15000 a month as a company driver

No. His numbers are real. My buddy worked there during the boom and took home 5k every 2 weeks as a company driver. I made 12-16k a month doing fuel during the boom as a company driver. Do the math.... 100 plus hours a week is 60 plus hours of overtime pay.

$ 30.00/hr, OT after 40 and 84+ hours per week. Some days I was on the clock for 18+ hrs on OT (swapping out in the field). You do the math. That is why they call it a boom. O/O for Enterprise were grossing 10-12k per week. Gross/net (after fuel, tank lease and insurance) was around 6k/week. I was grossing $ 3,250.00/week for Enterprise in 2015. Lunderby co drivers during 2012 were grossing upwards of $ 1,500.00/day. I personally know 1 driver that grossed over $ 160,000.00 in 2012, and another that grossed $ 140,000.00. Now you are lucky to gross $ 1,500.00/week.

Oil field. Love it or hate it, it is one wild ride.
