am a fedex switcher for about 6 months i have spoken to plenty of contractors all have said they are willing to train and hire me i just have to get approved by fedex i get 1 year with my cdl class a in one month do you guys think i will be approved?

i dont see why not as long as you have double and triple endorsment the only thing that would hurt your chances is that if they say that you do not have enough experience with a truck being that you were a switcher but it cant hurt to try.

As a fedex driver, their requirements are 1 year of commercial driving class a. No where in the requirements does it say otr regional local jock ect. You should get in just fine

Also consider driving for Fedex Freight, they have a driver apprentice program.

I don't think you need anything to be a jockey. You can literally be on private property in a vehicle that is strictly a yard goat and never put a wheel onto any public road or be under any law. Ive been a jock once or twice. Anyone can do it.
Now if your employer expect some sort of protection of the company against you breaking bones and filing a claim then there is that. Some sort of qualification. -
