The WORST Shippers and Receivers - Truckers WILL NOT Buy Their Products!

Best idea is to unload it yourself if you can get hold of a pallet jack and then bill your company for the unloading that way you get an extra $120 for the load.

 

I'm really going to go out on a limb here, Mr. Pro1driver, and state that I am guaranteed not the first person to have ever informed you that said "boss back home" is an absolute ####### and classless. This is assuming of course, the boss just so happened to be an infant or young child as this is a prime example of exactly how children act when there is a situation that doesn't go there way.

This post honestly doesn't warrant a response nor a second of my time but this is clearly an exception to the norm as I find it flat-out inexcusable across the board and starting with the fact you thought it appropriate to publish the alleged events of that day merely to make yourself appear cool. As you should have, I am refusing to use this public forum intended for positive/helpful discussion amongst those in the transportation industry to air my thoughts and/or disgust with either you or your boss personally. Unlike you, I am a grown ### man and simply put grown men do not go about their business in that manner.

Heed my advice, in the future, unless you are actively participating in a productive discussion regarding an aspect of the transportation/distribution industry, just stay off the site entirely.

 

And this is your very 1st post on this board, so it's pretty obvious you are affiliated with said receiver and are pissed that someone called your precious company out. GTFOH with your high and mighty bs...

 

Given that you originally posted that asinine comment over a decade ago now, in December of 2016, I am literally hoping (seriously, as I sit here and type this I'm hoping/praying!) that you are neither still employed as a truck driver nor working in any capacity, whatsoever, in the transportation/distribution/logistics industry as a whole.

There is absolutely zero room for someone like yourself, in ANY business industry at all, if that story is even a remotely true indicator of your actual ethics, professionalism, and/or intelligence because that is simply downright inexcusable. If the universe genuinely worked out in favor of the good/righteous few karma would without a doubt eventually come back around forcing you to pay the consequence for your actions but unfortunately that's not how the dice rolls in life.

Thankfully, I'm an eternal optimist so I am quite confident you just will get what's coming to you one day. ; )

 

Haha, well you are just SOL there today DTP, as I am, in fact, in no way affiliated with "said receiver" nor any company that manufactures/buys/sells/warehouses/distributes or in any way does business with BJ's Wholesale Club Incorporated.

The only thing your comment accomplished is further prove that you are merely yet another moron making up the group of people in transportation/distribution that have always been/will always be (barring a fragging' miracle) responsible for the way everyone else in the industry, as a whole, are negatively perceived and essentially treated as lower class citizens. It is an indisputable fact, that if you are genuinely offended by or disagree with the opinions expressed in my response to that genius earlier, it only goes to serve as an accurate indicator of your true character so there is simply no denying it unfortunately.

 

Sounds like delivering POV's for a living. Same reaction from the neighbors when you deliver or pick up in a residential area: customer glad to see you (and occasionally even tips!), but the neighbors are giving you "Eat S__t" looks because the presence of a semi car hauler sullied their precious, neat little upscale 'hood.

Nevermind the fact that, a few months later, at least one of those snooty neighbors ends up hiring us for the same reason...

 

What is this load of #########? BJ's is an awful hellhole and I absolutely will never shop at any of their stores because of how their operation is run. Adding to the fact that your post is senseless, it's pretty simple to hit that block button and not worry about missing out on any quality content from you

 

And you think it's ok for the driver to be treated with like that because of a screw up by the shipper, as well as criticizing any other drivers on here who dare speak out against abusive shippers and receivers?


It's obvious you are not a driver but probably a higher up at one of the major shippers/receivers, an official at a lobbying organization supporting them, or an office person at a large mega carrier posing as a driver so you can attack, troll, or spy on participating members of this forum.

 

Amazing! This guy has 2 posts, both in response to posts over 10 years ago, and the thread has over 1,000 posts. Me thinks he has an ax to grind. I predict that unless he has something positive to offer, he will be banned quickly.

 

I know... I read both of his responses... and it's clear he must be employed at one of those receivers. Just the tone was beyond hostile.

 

Corporate flacks of the world take note... This is not how you manipulate an internet forum. Please go back to astro turf school and repeat the 'how to pretend to be a normal human' class.

I'm a pretty capitalistic guy but some of these squirrely corporate types make me wonder sometimes.
