    @tucker ...but I thought all these "autonomous" stuff will get rid of drivers....from local UPS delivery drivers, to OTR drivers...and everything in between?

    Autonomous anything, by definition, will not be operated by humans.

    iRobot is a good movie to let your mind run wild, we're not far from it. Robots will fix robots they already do it in Japan and DARPA has been running robots for years.

    Why do these theads ALWAYS get side tracked....lol

    We talking about Autonomous Trucks (and demise of the truck driver)....I dont wanna read about no stinkin' irobots (j/k)

    Robots are the future whether we like it or not, however, we can choose how far it goes. We can choose to work with them and and remain the dominate breed and control what they are able to or let it go iRobot and they rule us. I don't trust these autonomous cars, the Tesla's going around here in Houston worry me, there was a guy in one watching YT while his car was driving him in stop and go traffic, I saw another video of some guy napping in stop and go traffic. The population has become to dependent, they depend on these fancy machines to the job, kinda like the back-up sensors in the bumper is good example.
