The OP seems not to know he can do better. Income numbers like you posted shows he can do better, for himself.

That's some pretty good numbers. Do you mind sharing the company name?

Thread is right on time. I'm looking for some local work myself down here in Florida. Something where I can get home daily and have my weekends off, but that pays around a grand a week. Saw ads from dillon around tampa saying as much, but all I've ever seen online about them(at that location) is that you maybe make half of what they advertise. Looking at NFI also around orlando as I saw an ad from them that fit my criteria.

Is that a dry van? I'm thinking, not? Not that it really matters - I live in Ohio and my wife won't move... no matter how much money I can make (she won't leave friends / family - kids and grand kids).

Good to know - but how many 'guarantee' an amount?
If drivers typically make more than that - I wonder why more companies don't offer salaries, vs. pay per mile?

I like that I get paid, no matter what I'm doing - on duty / off duty / sleeper. It's not all about the money for me - there's a certain peace of mind that comes with a guaranteed pay check. For instance, I had to set for over 24 hours waiting for dispatch to find a load... delivered at 8 am Thursday with a full day of work left - then sat until 10 am the next day before they found a broker load, to get me back for the weekend.

I'm pretty much limited to working for a company near me, or one that has a yard / terminal near me, since I don't have any place to park a rig... and sorry - but I'd never want to live or work anywhere near Philly, or any other major city. I don't mind passin' through - or getting in / out - but wouldn't want to do it every day!
