Obviously, money plays a big part, but so does some amount of value and ... what's the word I'm looking for ... happiness I guess - in the job / with the job.
If I disliked the job, more than I liked doing it - I'd quit, no matter what I was doing for a living and find something else. So, for me... it's really not all about the money - it's just one part of it.
There are probably more people like you than me... and I totally get where you're coming from. We all give up a LOT as truck drivers - and I really miss my time fishing / hunting / being at home with the family. I'm 10 years from retirement ... hopefully I'll get there and enjoy it along the way!?#1don Thanks this. -
Otherwise, I've always thought it's a good idea to keep my eyes open to (possibly) better, opportunities - if there are any!?Last edited: Mar 7, 2017
