They got me humping hoses this afternoon. Delivered my Kansas City load and am airing off a snot load 75 miles from the terminal.
Had to do a little McGyvering on this load. It's been a couple of years since I used my fittings. I have 2 of these and both looked like this.
Had to take an ear from a cap to fix it. The plant operator thought I was crazy smashing that cap with my sledge hammer. Couldn't get the pin out any other way. Holding good though

They look unused for those couple of years too
When I worked at QC the fitting they gave us were cheap or at least seemed that way
was always having to put the ears and pins back on the fittings from bouncing around in the storage box -
Yeah this is the first time in a couple of years that I have had to use my fittings. Delivered a load a couple of months ago but it was customer hoses and air.. They had me do it but with their stuff.

Knocked in a few pins over the years. They are hard to get out so it's always amazing how they fall out to begin with. It's funny, my fittings at Schneider were much better than what they gave me here.
