Not sure I follow. I see more trucks clogging up the middle lanes through towns and lane restricted areas then I have ever seen wrecks from a truck going too fast in a congested area. I don't care if you don't like being in the right lane where vehicles are merging....if you can't or won't do the speed limit and keep up with the flow of traffic you're holding up everyone else. And then on top of it you have trucks trying to pass on the right to get around. Myself, well I usually take my chances and go by in the left lane as I don't like passing on the right.

I thought so too BUT a week or so ago in Houston a flatbed just turned into my lane when his lane ended. The driver seemed upset when I used horn and was gesturing that he NEEDED to merge.

New Orleans used to have signs saying to yield to onramp traffic,
Been years since I been down there, so??? -

Putting together a merge video right now, probably post it tomorrow, stay tuned!!

I love when they come down the ramp at a good merge speed and then they see me in right lane and they slow to match my speed and we go side by side till they run out of lane.
Or they cut me off coming on to the interstate doing 40 mph and then ride about 8 or 10 car lengths doing that speed and then suddenly they mash it to 70 mph and then pull in to the middle lane and there gone.Lepton1, swervyjoe, Toomanybikes and 3 others Thank this. -
Ok, remember I'm a a stupid split speed state of MI. 60 for me, 70 for cars.
The thing that annoys me the most is when a car gets up to speed, merges in front of me then slows down so I catch up to him and have to slow down. Grr.. Get the hell up to speed, you should be passing me stupid 4 wheeler.misterG, Lepton1, mindes and 1 other person Thank this. -

I guess I do it backwards or perhaps I'm breaking another law. if iit's there and possible I'll scoot over a lane, those coming in can take off and pass or wait. cars, big trucks, motorcycles it doesn't matter, in a single lane it's about what ever is best to share the road and avoid a needless preventable mishap
