I work out of the Wintersville DC, coming up on 2 years... I live 7 miles from it.... So you took "The Murph"
for a ride along?... Murphy knows every shortcut there is. Good Guy...
I used to run full time but moved to flex and love it... Flex drivers that live close make pretty good money...
I normally only run Meat & Produce, I NAT 21:03 (code for flex), any night I want to work...

I'm running tonight, 3 stops, Kittanning, Clarion, & Cranberry, Pa.
I'm slip seat in truck #62623 tonight...

Be careful following Jill... For a new driver, The Rand Mcnally is the way, use google maps setting Latitude
& Longitude will take you right to the correct entrance..., I still carry mine for ETA & miles

    Good Luck...

Clarion in Merrillville IN. The princess was due to get her nails and hair done so Puzzlepalace Pudgy decided Gary was acceptable. I disagree but Mr L. holds the title.

Petro in Ontario. The fuel island store actual has a deli and small hot window with several choices for dinner. I got some sweet and spicy chicken with spanish rice, delicious. Its all homemade so it tastes different everytime, especially if someone else does it besides who did it when you got it.

Bored bored bored. Really want to go buy a house, work a regular job, get a dog, and ride my motorcycle. But I must be patient. But its getting harder. Especially when it seems like the harder I work, the smaller my paycheck seems to be

Work smarter, not harder, I know lol

I know I'm leaving, but but my patience is wearing thin. I keep telling myself "January 5th isn't so far away".....Even thought about leaving in June, but my next venture won't be sufficiently up and running by then, and I hate for SNI to gobble up my remaining MMA money.

Ive really had a bee in my bonnet about buying a 2000 year model truck (elpg exempt) and a tank and running on my own. Spent last night looking in slc and found several that actually looked good and all were under 10 k. 10k for the truck and another 10k to really go through and fix everything and do some preventitive. 20k for a used 7000 gallon, insulated, imspected, center unload tank. 15 k in reserve money until I start getting cash coming in. These dont include start up costs for getting my authority , insurance and such.

Been shaking as many hands as I possibly can. Been researching brokers, but not having much luck. Weird. How alot of places I talk to WILL NOT deal with a driver at all. One issue Im having is that companies arent interested in dealing with a single truck. "I ship 7 loads a day of just one product. You wont be helping me with just your truck. Go talk to the broker"
"Ok, Im sorry to hear that. may I please have the brokers name amd number?"
    "No"
    "......."

The next time you talk to someone like that offer to haul a couple of loads for free just to prove yourself to them and get your foot in the door.
