Tried to search and can't find an answer to my question.

Which LTL's and Linehaul Companies are NOT running driver facing dash cams?

FedEx Ground recently put them in my truck and I've had enough. I drive a truck so I dont have someone watching over my back. Not to mention all the micromanagement I've been dealing with.

    Time to go somewhere else.

If I wanted to be micromanaged I'd go get a job in an office.

I recently spoke to a Fed Ex contractor who tried to recruit me over to his outfit. He told me his trucks don't have cameras.

I wonder if this varies from contractor to contractor. Or is Fed Ex going to make them all comply?

LH boss said all contractors must have them in all their trucks by August 1, 2017. Any contractor who does not comply will not be dispatched effective August 1st.

Looks like I made the right move turning that contractor down. Plus I hate running teams.

Well, you can add Saia to your list. I met a driver at a rest area and he confirmed the outward and inward cameras are going in all the trucks.

Coming to RL carriers. Think every company will be just like elogs. Thanks to scumbag lawyers. I'll be retired in 5 years. I have 4 million miles with no accidents. My wife has 2 million And we are sick of the new trucking. We are DONE with being treated like newbies.

fudge. SAIA was one of my first choices.

FXG does have solo routes, I'm on one and I love my route, but this has become too much to bear. I can't drive like this. I can't be oppressed, micromanaged and babysat.

I have no problem with outward facing only. I run my own dashcam facing the road, but dont need that crap in my face.

Ironically, I'm saving up so I can go to law school to become a scumbag attorney.

USF Reddaway does not have any type of full-time camera. We run lane departure cameras that will (supposedly) run a recording feed in the event of an incident. None of our equipment will record the driver though.

I know Old Dominion currently does not. I have a friend that works out of the Denver terminal that said they have no plans to put them in.

    I'm wondering about

    UPS
    ABF Freight
    Estes

FedEx Freight does have them. Another friend that work there says the driver facing one is on the E-Log and raod facing one is in the window.
