Tried to search and can't find an answer to my question.
Which LTL's and Linehaul Companies are NOT running driver facing dash cams?
FedEx Ground recently put them in my truck and I've had enough. I drive a truck so I dont have someone watching over my back. Not to mention all the micromanagement I've been dealing with.
Time to go somewhere else.
If I wanted to be micromanaged I'd go get a job in an office.

I recently spoke to a Fed Ex contractor who tried to recruit me over to his outfit. He told me his trucks don't have cameras.
I wonder if this varies from contractor to contractor. Or is Fed Ex going to make them all comply?X-Country Thanks this. -
Mike2633, LoneCowboy, road_runner and 1 other person Thank this.

Looks like I made the right move turning that contractor down. Plus I hate running teams.
Well, you can add Saia to your list. I met a driver at a rest area and he confirmed the outward and inward cameras are going in all the trucks.X-Country Thanks this. -
YRC Freight has outward facing only.
X-Country Thanks this. -
Coming to RL carriers. Think every company will be just like elogs. Thanks to scumbag lawyers. I'll be retired in 5 years. I have 4 million miles with no accidents. My wife has 2 million And we are sick of the new trucking. We are DONE with being treated like newbies.
bbechtel16, archangelic peon, Toomanybikes and 2 others Thank this. -
FXG does have solo routes, I'm on one and I love my route, but this has become too much to bear. I can't drive like this. I can't be oppressed, micromanaged and babysat.
archangelic peon, Mike2633, lagbrosdetmi and 2 others Thank this. -
Does Estes Express have cameras?
-
USF Reddaway does not have any type of full-time camera. We run lane departure cameras that will (supposedly) run a recording feed in the event of an incident. None of our equipment will record the driver though.
Toomanybikes, RoadRooster and X-Country Thank this. -
I know Old Dominion currently does not. I have a friend that works out of the Denver terminal that said they have no plans to put them in.
I'm wondering about
UPS
ABF Freight
Estes
FedEx Freight does have them. Another friend that work there says the driver facing one is on the E-Log and raod facing one is in the window.bentstrider83 Thanks this.
