    Wonderful post.
However, I'm living proof that lack of masculine input in my life plus no high school didn't necessarily hamper me..
I had occupational opportunities. I've been in transportation most of my life. And I asked questions. And my itty bitty inner most feels didn't get brused because I was MOTIVATED to learn, to avoid the anxiety of looking like a complete moron among my peers. Tell me any kind of way, just tell me!
Sometimes chicks have to be twice as good to be considered half as much.
I'm not crying about it, I always love the company of men and they taught me most everything I know.

    Lonesome Thanks this.

Us too. We go 40,000 on brand new Peterbilts. Not unheard of.

We used to change at 15000 and learned to change once a month at 30000 when teamed. That engine did well with 30K changes. No worries. Although it was run really intensely it was not abused. We put 7500 hours on that 500 detroit that year and the samples coming out had no real problems when compared to when we got it new. Probably a million miles in 5 years at the pace we had set for it. The cab interior and rubber would have gone bad first if anything....

Everywhere I have worked they changed oil at about 12K. Regular old oil not synthetic.

Also, who is this thread about ? I seen no actual post , only a title. Who leased out the truck ?

    It’s in the first post.

    “jamie h. from Wisconsin”

So I guess we should not lease a truck to anyone named Jamie with a last name that starts with an H that doesn’t capitalize there name if there from Wisconsin.

    markk and Lonesome Thank this.
