So I begin this review as my time here is narrowly coming to an end as it will soon be time to go for higher pay in the .41-.44 range I am currently at .36 at navajo and they have forced per diem.
They are a good company to work for when you are starting in this industry especially if you live in the west we have alot of freight to the northeast, northwest, midwest, southwest, but not alot of freight to the southeast so it's alot harder to get home ontime.
They run you as hard as you want to run I turn about 2700-3000 miles a week theres no complaint there.
The real problem I have with the company is the lack of coordination within our management here it is very extremely difficult to get in touch with anyone, and time = $ lost when it takes an hour to get a reply.
Equipment is fairly new we have mini cab kws for regional dedicated, 76" sleeper kws for otr, Peterbuilts, reefers, dryvans, and extra lease dryvans all recent.
No company is perfect, but for when you need a step in the door, and want to see the country navajo is a company I would recommend to anyone needing experience. They run the wheels off the trucks, and keep $ coming in.

By chance, would you know if a lot of, or any freight, goes to and from, or through, Wichita KS?
The highways that go through Wichita KS are:
1) Interstate 135
2) Interstate 235
3) Interstate 35
4) U.S. Highway 54
5) U.S. Highway 81 (within the city - Broadway St.)
6) U.S. Highway 96
7) U.S. Highway 400
Does a driver working for Navajo Express need a hazmat and / or tanker endorsement on his or her CDL?
In general, what kind or type of freight does Navajo Express haul?

We don't pull much freight out of wichita, but we go through there alot we haul meat loads that run those us hwys, and some beer.
Tanker endorsement is recommended, hazmat is only required as far as the dedicated Rocky Mountain doubles from costco in slc.
We haul lots of frozen food out of conagra, but we have a wide variety of freight from beer to plastic to bottled drinks, anything really.born&raisedintheusa Thanks this. -
Do they have forced dispatch to NYC? You mentioned not a lot of SE but what about Florida?
