Do you know if the clearance is transferable from one company to another. My wife and I are thinking about Landstar

You should accentuate how difficult it is to pull these loads so that others just stay content to drive themselves to death for CRST rather than move in on your territory.

I don't know that. But even if you have to go through the steps again, all that entails is filling out the paperwork all over and letting your new carrier take it from there. So if you plan on switching carriers just make photo copies of it and stick in a folder so at the next carrier you just copy the info over.

Again, that's why I am here. Looking for any help or advice, would love to get to a better place, but not sure how. For now sounds like the general consensus is landstar.

    Aint that the truth.

Everyone wants to be CEO,.. no one wants to do the years of work it takes to get there.

You have to set some goals with a structured, detailed plan on how to get there. Then start the tedious journey of getting to where you want to be.

Again,.. not trying to insult you. But it seems you still have a lot to learn. The only advice I can really give you is to use the search feature of this forum and do a lot of reading. Everything you need to know is here waiting for you.

Trial and error will be your best teacher. What works for others may not work for you. You'll just have to figure it out as you come along.

Be smart. Learn and understand the business side of trucking. Once you start to figure that out,.. the rest will come to you in a eureka moment.

    Good luck to you.

Check out CTC GLOBAL LLC, USDOT 2523000, small trucking company, you have the freedom to pick your own loads, go home whenever you want, they pay 85% of the rate confirmations, they pay every week, and they can give you a fuel card as well, for more info call them at 760-450-6131.
