Do you go to Tennessee? Whats the hometime like here? Looking for 14 out 2 days home.
-
Home time ?
It's not a trucking company in that regard
Simply work at getting 8000 miles a month and take off as much time as you like .
(Poly doesn't count weekends either)
If it's anything over 12 total days I think
you would need to let them know .
I just spoke with a driver who stayed home 17 days and they didn't say anything.
Unless they need you at Poly you are
pretty much invisible . Poly is all about
moving their own product when the time comes and nothing more -
Are the trucks permanently assigned or do they slip seat?
-
Permanently assigned to a repair shop. Lol
Drive-a-Mack and againstthewind Thank this. -

As far as Poly, I know EVERYTHING about Poly, including all there is to know about the junk trucks, the mostly filthy, disgusting, even worse junk loaners and the moronic three stooges that run the shop.
I also know that you're correct about what's doable at Poly. And, that's to be willing to hop from truck to truck like a Friday night lot lizard, catch rides with other drivers, after a day or two hotel stay, to get back to Poly so you can grab that POS loaner, and all the other grief you have to put up with. And, it's a bit more than "trucks have issues some times". Lol
But, I appreciate the recruiting testimonial just the same. Obviously, if you're happy that's all that matters.
Bottom line, my comment was a light hearted quip. It wasn't meant to get anyone butt hurt. Lol
p.s. They can buy all the new trucks they want, nothing will change until they fix that sorry excuse of a shop.28 and Crusader66 Thank this. -
He never left.
For some reason they can never leave this thread.
Just can't let go. -
Just don't try to blow smoke up my rear about those triucks and that shop. That's the only reason I responded to the other poster.
