Yes .... Tennessee is a popular destination.

    Home time ?
It's not a trucking company in that regard

Simply work at getting 8000 miles a month and take off as much time as you like .
    (Poly doesn't count weekends either)
If it's anything over 12 total days I think
you would need to let them know .

I just spoke with a driver who stayed home 17 days and they didn't say anything.

Unless they need you at Poly you are
pretty much invisible . Poly is all about
moving their own product when the time comes and nothing more

Are the trucks permanently assigned or do they slip seat?

I have no idea where you work Frank and don't really care but I highly doubt you are turning anywhere near the miles I am with our broke down trucks. Trucks have issues from time to time no matter where you are but if you are proactive you can carry on without a #### ton of down time here.

First quarter since return (13 weeks)
    Miles: 31738
    Drops: 22
    Home: 21 days
Average mile/week home time included: 2441
Average miles/day without home time: 453.4

    Second quarter
    Miles: 40139
    Drops: 39
    Home: 4 days
Average mile/week home time included: 3088
Average miles/day without home time: 461.4

    Third quarter
    Miles: 40220
    Drops: 26
    Home days: 15
Average miles/week home time included: 3093.8
Average miles/day without home time: 529.2

    Fourth quarter
    Week 40 (3599 miles, 2 drops, 1 home day)
    Week 41 (3219 miles, 2 days home)
    Week 42 (3400 miles, 6 drops)

That's right, you don't have a clue about me or where I work or what I make and, frankly, it's none of your business, just saying...

As far as Poly, I know EVERYTHING about Poly, including all there is to know about the junk trucks, the mostly filthy, disgusting, even worse junk loaners and the moronic three stooges that run the shop.

I also know that you're correct about what's doable at Poly. And, that's to be willing to hop from truck to truck like a Friday night lot lizard, catch rides with other drivers, after a day or two hotel stay, to get back to Poly so you can grab that POS loaner, and all the other grief you have to put up with. And, it's a bit more than "trucks have issues some times". Lol

But, I appreciate the recruiting testimonial just the same. Obviously, if you're happy that's all that matters.

Bottom line, my comment was a light hearted quip. It wasn't meant to get anyone butt hurt. Lol

p.s. They can buy all the new trucks they want, nothing will change until they fix that sorry excuse of a shop.

    28 and Crusader66 Thank this.

You sound like another ex- poly driver who wished
    He never left.
For some reason they can never leave this thread.
    Just can't let go.

That's not true. I'm quite content in life. I enjoy the thread. And again, it was just a light hearted quip. But, I do know the good, bad and ugly about Poly. And yes, there's lots of good.

Just don't try to blow smoke up my rear about those triucks and that shop. That's the only reason I responded to the other poster.
