for those that misinterpreted or maybe i wasnt good at explaining the 735 is your starting wage solo and it is a guaranteed wage mainly meant for those drivers starting out that don't run hard yet and cpm wouldn't benefit them you can take cpm or flat rate. flat rate you get as long as you are available for work, so if you are under load and on a 34 reset paid, sitting at shipper for 9 hours paid, run 1000 miles that week paid. I AGREE it is low but it can be helpful for an eld to know what he is gonna be getting if he needs to make a set amount for bills etc.. also this is a little hard to explain but. if you are flat rate for 90 days and say you drove so many miles that 3 months that you would have made more money on a cpm setup they will cut you a check to make up the difference.

I read the post before you deleted. I found it helpful. It confirmed things I heard from former May drivers.

But if you don't want it public, no worries.

The guaranteed pay stated in the brochure is nice to have, it just seems low for staying out as long as May requires. It's a bottom feeder, but no doubt there are worse companies that don't offer a guarantee.

Sounds like May would be a better alternative than the mega co.s for a new driver. Do they have a refresher course ?

In addition to going to all 48 states, do the OTR drivers also go to Canada?

God bless every American and their families! God bless the U.S.A.!

The OTR & LTL truck drivers of America are positively the driving force of our economy.
