I don't think there are any countries in the free world that have much use for Trump and his administration. Adding Canada to that list is a big mistake. But mistakes is the norm for Trump and his cronies.

The Donald is on his biggest learning curve in his entire life, I think. Not sure he enjoys himself at the moment. No significant laws have been passed, and his executive orders have by and large been shut down by the courts. The very few that still stand have been significantly beat up.
In the mean time, keep on trucking.tucker Thanks this. -
In response to Trump threatening to leave NAFTA over this situation..
"Something tells me this isn't the first time Trump has had to pull out because of some soft wood" - Late Night with Seth Meyers6rider, Bike rider, Jazz1 and 4 others Thank this. -
In the meantime he is decimating the economies and currencies of his neighbors. When he says 'make America great again" I would like him to tell us the year and month when it was great. One might find that the 60's were not all that great. If he is allowed to continue America might never recover.
special-k Thanks this. -
He just gave himself a yuge tax cut

It really don't matter who would've won. Hilary or Bernie would have been screwing up things just as bad. I stopped caring about what happens in the world. It only makes you depressed. Ignorance is bliss I guess

Canadian Govt sells the trees cheaper to the harvester than U S counterparts who have to get them off private land is the argument.
Have yet to see anyone report hard data on that, is it true?
What does Ottawa charge for a tree?
So much for that new hayrack and heavyspec tractor u bought, AGAIN!
The old guys steer clear of it, they remember what happened last time.
Can they fault us, all we got is trees, too much taxes, regulation and red tape, not to mention insurance, to run many other businesses in Canada -
Ive worked in the logging industry 12 years. There's no way mills or contractors are getting cheap wood from crown land. The real money is in private wood .
Stumpage is paid on all trees harvested from Crown Land.
