I work for them out of CA, we are the new kids on the block as they have only had company trucks out here for one year now was trimac before. I came over from hauling oil, chemicals, and most recently fuel, this by far is the best and cleanest. Non back breaking work, we already have the forward facing cameras but nothing facing inward.

I was familar with the new ceo of air products re structuring things. But to have the hr or recruiters asistant call me on her personal cell to inform me of a face to face interview. And congratulate me on it was cool. But she said to call if I had any questions. So a half week later I did. She replied she didn't work there anymore. And I ask why, she said she got laid off.
That's when I learned of the whole trimming of the fat cycle there. Witch it amazed me that they were hiring if the ceo was hired to save the company some money. I sure hope the lady got another job she didn't sound happy as she did when we first spoke.
Yes they are picky the one job stayed open 11 months. And there is another at same location that's been open 4 months. If they are advertising 90k a year for a driving job. On almost every job website I know they are getting a ton of ppl applying.
I only have a simple battery on my background. From where I slapped a tooth out of a billy bad arse trucker in 06' My safety record as far as psp I only have a issue where the dot said the company insurance wasn't updated with the state motor vehicles dept. -

Does AP lease owner operators?
-
No they will give work to other carriers or contract it out. I pulled for them when I drove for new century. But the contract work out to 3rd party cryo carriers such as Gen Ox, LGT, and maybe CTI.

Driving for a AP competitive company we did not like the cams when first installed bout 3 yrs ago.
We managed to adapt and now most of us rarely see a " coachable camera incident".
I believe it is the wave of the future for company owned and private carriers.
To many potential liabilities in a litigious country like ours nowdays.
We are paid well for one of the easiest gigs out there, at least we tell ourselves that....
How much $ annually would it take to change your perception and work w a cam in your truck?Cali kid Thanks this. -
Well I've made anywhere from the high 60's to low 80's without a camera in my face. So if I could make the same or more I would drive with shades and a bandanna on my face. And stick play-doh in the mic of the camera. Then I won't feel like the company was spying on me. But rather some bandit with a cdl.
Cali kid Thanks this. -
On pace for $105K this year God willing.
Home at night and the same 2 days off each wk.
Great benefits and 3 or 4 layovers each month to keep my hotel points up.
If they don't mind a nose pick or an ### scratch neither do I. -

Now take three days. Off to do all the nose picking you could dream about! And come back ready to drive with new underwear. Or an itchless behind.
I wonder why he got fired???
