Having got to know you. You will do just fine as you put 100% into everything you do. Very happy for you to get the job.

The closer to the sun you get, the hotter it is. But I have to ask... why bother getting a cdl if your not going to use it?

Simple. Use it to get yourself up the ladder to better things.

I guess. Must be a really good company to give up driving for dispatching. Unless hometime is the priority.

I still plan to use my CDL, I do not want to lose the skill set that I have invested time and money in. It will also allow me to not lose touch with what it is like to be out on the road. Kriska will allow me to do some runs on my days off and it will give me some extra cash in me pocket as well. The main reason for the change was to be home to do many of the things my wife had to take on while I was down and out with my PTSD for four years. Should other opportunities present themselves within the transportation profession, having knowledge and experience as a driver will be a definate asset.
