Who r u then?You have a heartland avitar and one of your post said you have waiting line to get trained.If you did then you wouldn't have ads thruout the net.Face it you have more trucks then drivers.I bet the lot in Iowa is full of vacant trks.

 

i have little gaps like few months here and there since i moved to florida but thats all

 

and for a trainer time they said its up to the tranier 5 or more days

 

Hi @pattyj, great to meet you. I'm Rob, and I manage our digital responsiveness efforts for the company. Like TTR, the web has an abundance of spaces where folks can ask questions of us and share their feedback. My role is to be open and immediate in getting back to folks that want to know more about how we operate.

We currently have a waiting list of new drivers to get trained, but an experienced driver that doesn't require training would be considered for orientation right away (and not have to go on with a trainer).

To answer your question: we will always aim to have more trucks than drivers. Our volume of trucks closely matches our volume of drivers, but we have trucks to waiting to be filled. A comparable approach would be a retail company not allowing manufacturing or supply chain management get in the way of sales. Does that make sense?

I've read some of your responses. It's obvious that you're not just Rob @ Heartland, 2nd door down on left from the lobby.

What you are is either a moral booster like many companies use or an employee of one of those 'fix your online reputation'. Either way, you're getting paid for your time here, on Twitter, on Facebook, etc etc.

How long have you been getting paid by Heartland?

 

Bad trucking companies are a breeding ground for negativity. Take care of your drivers and your reputation will repair itself. A decent weekly pay guarantee will fix it.
