The fight againts ELDs,A large number of drivers forming.

I appreciate the opinions...I did not start that page but agree with what they are doing

For you guys that like running E-logs more power to you.
If they work for you then that is great!
Would it not be nice to be able and stop your 14 for a couple hour nap sometimes?
When your 10 is up you have to roll with most outfits. Sometimes you slept and sometimes not much.


Tony Justice and a few others started the page and have been against it and fought it since the law was started.

Ridge line is dead on about how they are going to try and play this out....

Nothing wrong with voicing our opinion in Washington...Lord knows all these other groups do it for stupid reasons.

 

He is backing this and I have been talking to him. He is a great guy!

 

As they should be. Produce and livestock loads will be affected the worst...
I think many outfits will turn single drivers into teams....so up goes the prices on everything.

Law or not I think most people agree we are WAY over regulated!.
We have tighter rules than commercial airline pilots!...

E-logs would be fine with me if there was a little flexibility to them.
No stupid 30 minute break and if you are within an hour or so from home or your delivery then there should be a rule that would let you finish the run

Same here...Not wanting a huge thread and a bunch of debates.

I just posted it for anyone who may want to join....you never know it could cause some changes in the HOS rules..
We don't want to run outlaw just give us a few options than the straight 14 rule now...
Shippers and receivers are one of the biggest problems too..
