Just shut down in Belgrade, MT. Deliver Monday morning in Sumner, WA then bounce down to Pendleton, OR to reload Tuesday morning. Deliver that Thursday in Jamestown, no idea after that, I've got hometime at Mom's in IL starting on the 5th, no safety blitz for me! TYVM!

Chillin up here at the CR yard, ran over to the movie cinema to catch the new Pirates movie. Then had early b-day dinner. Deliver in St. Cloud Tuesday then reloading in Gaylord headed toward Indy, then to the house to celebrate.

Parked at 2200 friday. Got a 34 hour reset in. Delivered this morning. Drove about 45 miles to a flying j nearest to my next pickup. Will get another 34 hour reset in. Pickup is 1530 Tuesday.

If I'm being honest with myself, I have developed a lazy habit in the past month or two. I'm pretty bad about turning in paperwork on time. I was previously doing all paperwork before I left the consignee. Stellar! Now I've been scanning in 2-3 trips at a time. It's a bad habit and I need to stop. I really don't have a place to complain about my miles. I need to not be lazy!

I learned after my first year that holidays usually mean sitting. Not Magnums fault... it's just the reefer game. Things are chaotic the week before and the week after with the food distributors playing catch up. Almost all of them are closed on Monday.... so what can ya do. I think we need to get a paid holiday if your working that day.....
So I try to schedule my hometime around the big ones now. I'll enjoy the holiday at home and take my chances with the Inspection Blitz the first week of June...

Yeah, there's also that! I lost a ND to NC load in favor of ND to OK because of my trailer brake chamber replacement. That added a whole day of nothing in front of this weekend. I realize it's a holiday weekend and I had that situation all rolled into one... it still sucks! I don't blame Magnum for anything. Just keepin it real!

I was walking into flying j and I swear this scruffy/dirty guy looked right at me and asked "do you want some head?" So immediately I'm assuming this guy is looking for money. So I say "uh...what was that?" "Which way you headed?" He clarified. Lol for a second I was caught off guard by what I thought he was asking for hahahaha

Have to hand it to dispatch, I did a favor helping another driver get home by relaying a load and thought, well now you have screwed yourself for the week...

Well they found a way to keep me running heading into my hometime next week, trip from St Louis to CR, drop and then Gayload to Fargo, drop then Fargo to Rochester, deadhead to Gayload then a two stopper for home in Cincinnati and Louisville.

Keeps the wheels turning on a holiday weekend so no complaints here. Happy Memorial Day all, and a special thanks to those who have served.

What is the process over at Michael Foods in Gaylord? I read somewhere you have to wash the trailer out once you get there?

Pull into the washout have your trailer inspected sign the bill and take the yellow ticket to shipping.

    Zata40 and mattbh23 Thank this.
