I have background of over 10 years in towing, heavy haul, and auto transport. I'm seeking over the road 3+ weeks out, decent pet and rider policy a must, sleepers on the bigger side, 48 States.

I have a clean driving record, experience with everything from cars to military tanks, 8 axle rgn, step deck, flat deck, low boy, drybox van. Looking for a small or family owned company that has miles and long term employment. I do not mind a month or two at a time out. Home located in North Central Florida.

    Thanks in advance!

Check into Smokey point distributing. We aren't nessarly "small" or family owned. We have 200 trucks. That being said we have less then ten planets and 6 dispatchers. Everyone knows you name.

We do mostly aerospace freight with a mix of elevators down in the south east. We have a yard in North Charleston and a decent amount of freight in Florida.

Most of our legal loads are tarped and LTL. We pay extra for tarping and the stops. We also do about 40% oversize loads and every type of trailer imaginable.

Trucks are mostly t680's, volvos, freightliners, Peterbilts, and internationals. All big sleeper, double bunk trucks. Apu, refrigerator, sattalite tv, and bunk heaters. All free of charge to the driver. Less then 500k miles mostly 13 speeds and some autos in the mix.

I have been here 2 and a half years and I have very few complaints. Plenty of miles especially if you don't mind staying out. Last two years were 149k and 141k respectively. That was before I started running oversize.

Feel free to Pm me or post here and I will answer any questions you have.

Another helpful post with good advice to help the guy.
I know, I know...3..2..1..go knock on farm house doors and ask if he can haul their hay.

I know nothing about heavy haul. I'm being trolled. There's one guy on here that likes to slowly draw people into an argument, then he strikes like a snake.
I do know 3 American companies that hire new cdl grads, but that' the limit of my knowledge on this.

You know you don't have to respond, maybe a judicious use of the ignore feature is in order.

You're a little vague on your question, what kind of work are you looking for exactly? Heavy haul I'm assuming since that's the section you're posting in?
