    I was gonna ask too, then I was like wait, let me see if someone else asked first.

    I agree it's low, if they were somehow catch the #######, they should charge them with attempted murder in my opinion. That's exactly what it is, sure you should do a pretrip, but stealing securement equipment is actively putting someone else's life in danger.

    yes while i was showering at a truck stop.. They stole all the binders.... Would be funny as hell to drill out a hole and put a GPS chip in it lol..

    Man, there are some sorry SOB's out here now days. I hate a thief worse than anything. If I caught one in the act I would probably be in the pokey for life.

    Rules of Engagement state you are authorized to use deadly force:

    1) to protect your life and the life of others.
    2) to stop the theft of property vital to national security
    3) to stop the theft of property not vital to national security but that is inherently dangerous to others
    4) as a last resort, when all lesser means have failed.

    I'm pretty sure theft of load securement equipment currently in use is inherently dangerous to others. Its at least inherently dangerous to the thief, because I'm gonna kill him if I catch him. Sounds justified to me.
