At least Crete drivers are good about keeping to the right lane. We'll see if this changes now.

To my way of thinking this only creates more problems. For "slow trucks", 65 is the max speed (cruise or not) for the bulk of them. Now, we can expect to see about 5,000 more trucks to that 65 pace. I don't know the quantity but I know it's a lot.

And this merits a media announcement?

    Ah... phooey.

FFE used to configure the tractor to display 65 mph on the speedo but run 63. We caught em red handed once applied GPS in real time and showed it to safety and shop as evidence. We had a converstation and a understanding later on that day. They were good about it. But such deception and wondering why some loads were iffy on appointment times and late because she wont run 65 against the stopwatch and yardsticks...

All the companies in the USA that governs need to find out which State has the highest Interstate speed Texas is 85 I think and then self enforce same with QC Gps in real time. So that anyone busted 90 will be fired and especially disobeying speed at 85 in sections not lawfully signed for it.

They might find a pleaseant silver lining in many loads no longer being late at sunrise and rolling nicely to destination today. Herds? Ha that 85 will sort that in no time.
