    Why not do the diet Dew? Isn't regular Dew the one that makes you fat?

    Distilled water is bad for you. Your body needs the minerals in tap water.

    The past two weeks I've stayed away from soda, both sugary and diet, and I've cut out just about all carbs. I've lost about 8 pounds and my GL has gone from 392 to 294 to 191 to 143. Looking good. Thinking about talking to lawyers about Diet Dew and filing some kind of suit against PepsiCo. Somebody sure as hell needs to.

    Only if you pig out after doing the diet Dew. I mostly avoid soda on the road. My wife gets those flavor packets to put in the water bottles.

    Almost sounds like diet Dew is worse than regular.

    I have a problem with artificial sugar. If you are going to use sugar, get actual sugar and be done with it. Artificial sugar only complicates something else somewhere god knows what in your body. I researched Dominos and they get their sugar processed from cane sugar which is what it should be.

    One of you mentioned flavor packets. Check it for caffinee. You might find that some of it is caffinee. Some is aimed more towards alcohol so the presence of these packets will lead a DOT man to hunt for a bottle or cans...

    There you go driver, way to take no personal responsibility. I promise you diet dew had very little to do with your heath problems. More like Subway, McDonalds, other processed carbohydrates heavy & sugary foods etc.

    As a driver of 8 years I managed to get up to 390 pounds on my 5 foot 11 frame. I failed my DOT in 15'.

    Got my attention. I started making the time to work out and became MILITIANT about my diet. Your diet is more important than anything else. You can enjoy good food working a Atkins or Ketogenic diet with absolutely NO SUGAR!!!

    It's sucks, and it doesn't taste "good" all the time, but this is what being a responsible adult is all about. I understand the OTR way of life isn't the healthiest but you can make sacrifices and choices that will benefit you in the long run. You just have to get tired of your own crap.
