    Marten Transport DeSoto Texas. Stay as far away as you can from these guys. Units you get assigned to are filthy and nasty. If you have a breakdown you will be slip seated to another truck if breakdown is longer than 24 hours. $20 an hour local work is a joke I never got paid. Detention time good luck. Divers been complaining not getting paid. Driver managers fresh out of college no experience in trucking industry whatsoever. APU's is a joke blows air out in the floor. Best of luck if you choose Martin my time is about done with these guys.

    So is it Marten?
    Or is it Martin
    I ask, because I don't know either to be from Desoto, TX.

    Both Marten Transport, and Martin Milk Service are out of Wisconsin. And the other Martin (red. orange, and white) was out of Tohma, WI. back in the day.

    It is the Marten from Mondovi (blue trucks). They have a terminal in Desoto, Tx.

    Yes blue bird Marten. DeSoto TX South Central Region is not what you think it is or have been told. You will be doing Chicago Rail Yards OTR Freight with the hopes you might get back to South Central Region. On top of that they will mess around with you on your time off earned.

    I have been driving for 27 years. Three companies are out of business. Tolley freightways, HR Hill, CCC Express. Now I ask you what's your point! How many years experience do you have and how many companies have you worked for!

    I'm with Marten. I've been here for a year. I wonder how you managed to NOT get paid detention when I have no issue with it. Did you write the times on the bills correctly? How did you NOT get paid for local? I always got and get paid.

    Now I can't speak on how they run you because Desoto, TX is not Memphis. I do know I can't get back to California for #### now lol. Everything goes rail. I did just go local in Memphis and they said the pay is $16.50. Yes, I know that's a super pay cut from what I'm used to making here, but I'm going to suck it up, get my endorsements, and bounce on em.

    All in waiting on is the background check and I'm out.
