I have searched. But I'm coming up with nothing.

    I have a 2007 Peterbilt 386. ISX450. I have a Thermo King APU.

Do I have to go into California and have it inspected or what?

I live in Oregon. Signing on with a company out of another town and they have lots of loads into California. But I'm stumped if I am even allowed to go.

    Thanks in Advance!

CARB won't be happy with you but it is unlikely you will come in contact with CARB.

CHP does not care if you meet CARB regulations.

Yeah you can't with your truck but you probably won't get caught if you stay away from ports. DOT doesn't care and can't enforce CARB. ARB are the ones that can give you a fine for CARB but they can't pull you over without DOT. The only way they can get you is if they're there when DOT pulls you over for something else or you're stopped somewhere. That's why when I run in CA, I try to go straight through without any stops.

I know guys with old trucks that have been running in CA 3-4 days a week for the past couple of years. Non of my trucks are CARB and I run through there once or twice a week, never had any trouble but the route I take only has 1 scale and it's pretty much always closed.

I would just be going in to deliver and pick up produce. Maybe once a week. Maybe once a month. Not entirely sure at this time.

Shouldn't be a big deal but the company you're signing on with might not let you. I would check with them first.
