The Ghost was seen and explained in 3812 -

Well the "Ghost" has been exercised... I am looking at this on the latest maps in test and it stays to the left and does not show the "160" at the top. So, I suspect it is the current maps.

As far as the 2nd part if you make any changes while in route or off routes, the TND will recalculate and may/may not give you the same route. It is the logic and which way the 1's/0's decide at that moment in time based upon your settings and the road segments and how they are classified.

You can turn off this function of auto-recalculate by Preference/Route/Recalculation - Manual

    Thanks,
    Mark

If I have not answered you post and it gets beyond 2-3 pages back, just reply to the post to bring it forward.

These got pushed back about 18-20 pages, sorry if they were forgotten.

    Thanks,
    Mark

Allow all/Shortest gets you your route from Dumas to Morris.

Allow all/shortest on the Des Plaines, IL to Eagan, MN gets you your route.

    Thanks,
    Mark

I have had the 730 route me exit 10 off the NJTP and up i287 to i87 instead of just going straight up the NJTP to i80 to Rt 17 to 87 which is faster and shorter.
I also have it set for fastest and allow all.
Sometimes it seems like the 730 routing makes no sense

Give me start/stop locations... City to City is fine.

    Thanks,
    Mark

I have not gotten my test unit yet. They are on B/O at the warehouse, so I am limited to what I can tell you about it.

    Thanks,

They are pretty nice. SiriusXM tuner built in. I can listen to all of my entertainment through it, Pandora, Audible etc ...

But I also have a problem with it. In every iteration of RM GPS's from the 700 to the 730 and the Tablet 70, I could click on a road on the map and add it as a via point, or route to it. With this stupid Overdryve I cant. I can click on the road, which isnt easy anymore the way its set up. It highlights the road but theres no routing options.
