Still b.s. way too much tilt. Ya ever notice the majority of antennas on trucks are straight up. It's for a reason obviously you don't know what that reason is... Discussion OVER

With all due respect to all here, I would start testing with NO tilt and only tilt if needed, and only then just enough to get the desired numbers. Every degree negatively impacts performance
bored silly Thanks this. -

Take what you want from the threads. I am sure we are all qualified electronics experts. It explains why we drive trucks.
I can tell you I am set up exactly how Walcott radio set me up. And it is a great set up. 40 watts peak on a bird wattmeter on a cobra 29 lx. Anything more is overkill, imo.
So we can argue details all you sniveling snots want, but a cobra 29 lx with a mofset upgrade and a firestick 2 properly adjusted for length at a 45 is all you need, maybe more. I'm sure the cb tech is more qualified than most here. I have the results to prove it. Smell that? Smells like trolls being roasted. Highly recommend Walcott radio. They are professional no b.s. and they have parking for customers. Good day trolls.Attached Files:

Ever notice how brackets are manufactured to be set for straight up and forty five? Must be a reason.
