    their new policy is
60 gallons for a shower credit
    And
120 gallons gets us 2 shower credits, but the second credit doesn't appear until 24 hours after we fuel.

They just absolutely refuse to get with the times. I used to always have meal vouchers, shower credits, etc, now it seems like you have to spend $10,000 in there to get $5 off a meal. With Love's aggressively expanding as well as Pilot expanding, plus the old-timers slowly fazing out of the industry and fading away, their business model or lack thereof is gonna eventually put them out.

They also badly need to update some of their locations...

You guys who frequent these TA's and Petros need to start grabbing photos of these properties for archival purposes. In 20-40 years when there are no more TA's or Petros, these photos will make for some great historical remembrances.

I wish I had gotten some photos of some of the truck stops along I-40 out west back in the day such as the truck stop near the 40/93 junction, Ted's at Ash Fork, and the truck stop at west Tucumcari, before they closed up for good. But there was no such thing as digital photos or camera phones then.

    Or not.
That battle ship that wrecked in Japan was on autopilot, and if a boat in an almost empty ocean can't not run into another boat, then maybe the driverless truck won't happen for a long time.

They increased the cost of showers if you use points or cash.

Well my fuel discount is twice as much at Petro / TA than at the J. So there's that.

The showers are HUGE and twice as nice as the J. So there's that.

The Iron Skillet will never be beaten, especially for breakfast. So there's that.

$4.40 to go box the other morning.

And lastly, but not least, you guys want me to believe you shower more than once a week? I've seen you lol.

it would be nice if tgere were more truck stops designed like the larger ta and petro. There arent to many that have a nice sized lounge and a laundry room. some ta's and petro's have bathrooms equipped with a shaving and general hygiene area. cant say about others
