Well theres more than one "bin" thats a cable truck, there is a clevis at the end of a cable, you tip up the rack, line up to center of dumpster, get close, hook the clevis onto the dumpster (there is a hook welded onto it.) Then draw the dumpster up the rails of the truck. All of the "what if's" you will learn about over time.
Roll off truck for a new driver? Whats it like?

There are no auto tarps on the trucks in either pic.
The hook is kinda sorta built into the mechanics of the boom & cant be seen from either of the angles in either pic.
A truck with a cable will be attached to the cylinders built within the boom & will then run the length of the boom... laying on top of teh boom & cant be seen from either of the angles in either pic. -
Gotta be a cable, no A frame for hook hangers....

Pic of bin
How exactly am I suppose to climb up there to put a tarp -
I think that was a stupid question. I could tarp it before I pull it the bin on the truck

Ok so here is what happen
Met boss today, told me to throw away resume doesnt need it. First thing he said im a old school guy, new school doesnt know anything
Get in truck
Was explaining to me what he was doing as he was driving, basics.... How to shift without clutch, etc didnt really seam all that complicated
They have their on waste yard for garbage with guys that unlock doors for you to let you dump, and a transfer yard down the street for scrap metal...there you have to unload on your own, which showed me to stay the hell away from doors, and their own shop for fabrication and truck repairs
2 mechanics
1 parts guy
2 fabricators
20 drivers
3 in office
3 in transfer
We went for a run downtown, came back
Spent about 5 hours with him, someone showed up... Went to meeting... So I left because I was waiting forever
No paid training.... But I dont think anyone else will teach me manual and how to roll off bins -
Goodguy88 Thanks this.
