Running with JCT, Part Deux

Are the cameras on the 2018 truck driver installed or company mandated and installed? Anyone know?

Two mounted to either side mirror and one looked mounted directly to the dashboard.

 

Sounds like driver installed.

 

Looked very professional and high end. Kind of curious about the setup.

He installed them for his own protection. He actually had them on his other truck too. It's not a cheapo from the truck stops.

It's actually a 5 camera setup with a display monitor. Can't remember the name of the system, but it runs around $400 or so.

I'll ask him the name of it again when he comes off of home time.

 

I've been watching the orginal Knight Rider and one of the episodes deals with trucks. The bossman sends Hassleoff to Albuquerque but the town is Holbrook. The whole shows maintains they are in New Mexico, but insist on calling the town Holbrook. I just find it funny.

 

NEVER again. Western cherries in Yakima wa. I'm at 52 hours and they still don't have me loaded.

Any overnight parking at the Albertsons in Tolleson? Been a few years since I've been there, and I can't rememberify.

 

Yep. They have a lot avalible however no bathrooms.
