Use heat gun and Goo-Gone myself, lightly scraped with a razor blade after applying the goo-gone to soften the left behind adhesive. Worked very well.

Yea I'm a fan of plastic razor blade, heat and adhesive remover. 3M makes it. I'm sure it's the same as goo gone

hair dryer, goo gone ( put a liberal amount on, rub with a soft rag, repeat 3 or 4 times as needed ) MOST important in every step is patience.............

I've done a bunch. here's how I do it.
heat-gun and a plastic scaper (looks like a putty knife). You'll need a couple of those scrapers or stop to sharpen with with a knife every now and then. Use the heat gun to get the vinyl loose, start peeling and pulling and moving the heat gun. You'll encounter trickier spots, use the plastic-puttyknife and a little extra heat and keep going.
once you've got the vinyl off you'll still have the sticky crap. use mineral spirits or denatured alcohol and a couple rags to wipe this off. Then once you think you've got it good, step back, make a disappointed face, and do one last wipe-down with a fresh rag and solvent.
It takes a while.
it can also be done with a pressure washer but I don't think it's worth it and you end up with bits of vinyl EVERYWHERE. -
I'd second the mineral spirits. Sign shops use that, at least one that I worked in did.
