I dont think the bins will be hard, similar to dump truck ....just theres a cable

Trick will be shifting this time.

Actually I think its more similar to a flatbed tow truck

    Thanks for advice

When downshifting if you over rev your gear, dont panic, just lay of the gas, as the revs come down lean into the gear you want (not hard) and when the revs hit the sweet spot, it will fall in

    Goodguy88 Thanks this.

Yup. There are some tricks to get them to do what you want, but you kinda need to see it happening....

    Will watch that too.

This company seems to be lower paying and will hire newbs.... Other companies dont touch drivers like me like waste management, cascades, supersave, etc around here

I think the environment is much more relaxed though, maybe thats the difference? My pay is going to be low to start off. Full wage after however long theres still a difference between about 5 an hour compared to other companiea. Dont know why

Nothing wrong with taking a little less when you know your greener than green. Learn what you can, and keep your record clean, and in a year you can easily walk into a nice higher paying gig

Why the big wage difference between companies?

This seems like better opportunity than all other places because I get to learn manual even though I wont fet paid. Pays better in general than straight trucks long run

Cant tell ya why some companies pay what they do. Basic straight truck work is like driving a big van. Its where i started, but in reality its not hard at all. The hard part is what your hauling, if its fingerprinting 800 cases of beer, its worth more than a dock bumper using a pallet jack 8 times in a day...

Roll off top rate pays about 27 an hour here, straight 18'to 22 depending on handboming or not

Ill be starting at the low rate even if its roll off
