    plus longer load time and lost time at tank wash outs. Plus the cost of blower end dumps are a better choice. Drying the tank out in the winter is real fun

    Wet kits are pretty expensive for dumps too though.

    Don't get me wrong though, you can make good money. It's just a preference thing. Some guys really enjoy the sitting we do but I started out in flatbed so it drives me up a wall haha

    It depends. For a guy that wants to be home every weekend, dumps are way better. Guys that can stand to be out a few weeks at a time would probably do better on tanks. But most of it comes down to how you want to work and how well your dispatcher can work with that.

    Yeah but $3500 is an order of magnitude easier to take than $10000.

    Great thread. Just read all 73 pages. Im approved for hire. Just working my two weeks notice out. Have to go buy a truck after that. Gonna pull a hopper. Just like the lanes they travel. Gonna be a good area for me living down here in La south of I10. Im looking at gettin a 13 cascadia. Anybody have any experience with a def delete??? Thanks for any advice

    I10 in Louisiana is good for all divisions. As far as emissions systems go I'd leave it alone if it is a Detroit.




    But anyways, how 'bout that pay raise...

    Yeah, looking at a Detroit in houston. Trying to locate a ahop i can bring it to in the area ro run a dyno and pull an oil sample.
