Just goes to show what Poly knows about trucking. IL gives a rebate on all the money collected but not run in the state. Alot of states keep the excess. PA is just stupid expensive. LA used to require enough fuel was purchased to cover the miles run but I don't know if they still do that. I remember the fuel book that Burlington used (and Crete too if I'm thinking right) in the 90s and early 2000's. GA was another one to avoid. All the ins and outs of IFTA...

 

At home now to grab my stuff then off to maxton to deliver at Campbell's today. Then go to pu at Nordic cold storage and take a load Springfield oh with a 2200 delivery time tomorrow. Not such a good run this time but I guess I gotta pay my dues. Hey they can't all be 1500 milers lol. Just wondering where the hell im gonna be able to park after I get unloaded up there. Load info says SOME onsite parking at the site. U guys have any advice for me? Thanks

 

No it's not a brand new truck. A 2015. It's just new to me. I'm happy with it though. The a/c sends fog out of the vents and there's water on the floorboard inside the truck after I use it for a couple of hrs. But it's nice and cool. Any of u guys have this problem also?

 

Yeah on the right side firewall under hood check to make sure your drain is free, it's the large black tube coming out of the condenser. Hope that helps.

 

Welcome, there is onsite parking there and I'd use it! There is also a Loves across the interstate, but at that time of night we all know there won't be any parking.

 

That would be because people stopped fuelling there.

 

As stated, There is onsite parking and a new Loves next to the interstate. On the main road near the interstate, there is also a very wide shoulder where I see people park. Right near the Aldi's DC.
The good thing about that run is you have multiple reload possibilities out of there. Call Joey today. Most likely your going to Coke in Columbus or Campbells soup in Napolean OH. . Most likely back up to the Cities. Ask Joey if he has an idea of where. If he says the Cities, call Aaron.... 1) set up your reload up there. 2) see if you can drop it in the yard and keep rolling...

Well first time delivering to QCD in Denver, man am I happy I decided to come over here early! This place is a clusterfluck.....put in the door right away and now waiting on bills.
