Will alprazolam - Xanax show up in a drug screennig

Seriously?
Aren't you the guy that's has to take narcotics for stress and anxiety.

 

My apologies I had you confused with another poster.
I'm not a doctor and I didn't even sleep in holiday day inn last night so I had to refer to the inter web.
The internet says it's not a narcotic and that it is a schedule 3 medication.
I don't know if a schedule 3 medication is ok or not.

Yes.

 

There are many tests it would show up on, all tests only show results for tested chemicals. Luckily for you, the standard DOT test is a 5 panel, which does not include barbiturates (xanax). However, companies may administer additional tests for their own hiring qualifications.

 

Xanax will only show up if they're testing for it, which is unlikely. I hope you have a prescription for it. Maybe try a good BP med like clonidine instead.
