Unless you are a trainer you don't get miles, they don't care about there drivers they have someone lined up to take your truck as soon as you turn the truck in. I gave them two weeks notice that my mom was on her death bed and needed to get home and they waited tell the day before her funeral to even talk about getting me there. Worthless company.

Did you search forums here before signing on? Your conclusion of horrible has been shared many times. Equipment looks like junk, I go by a local WE yard, and it's jam packed with wrecks.

Their claim to fame, is that they give convicted felons a chance to enter the business. #Chinatown has recommended them for that exact reason. A 2nd chance starter company. Lower expectations = lower pay and rough equipment.

Sorry for your the loss of your Mom.

Are they really that bad for a starter company?

@belowspeedlimit were you dry van? I'm hoping flatbed miles might be different.

You can certainly do better, and can't do much worse.

Sorry about your mom, losing a loved one really sucks. W/E has never been high on the list of best companies to work for to begin with.

    .. that said...

You had a choice. Keep driving for W/E while they ignored you or get your rear home where you wanted to be... W/E isn't to blame for you not being home.
