    I
Heard that Interstate is being bought by Heartland. Things may change about pets.

Thanks for the suggestions. I'll check those out. Been on the phone the past few days with probably 20 pet friendly companies, with no luck. Was hoping someone here might have an idea.

Nothing wrong with paying a little extra besides you get the pet deposit back if you quit long as truck is in the same shape as when it was issued to you.

I have no issues with pet deposits. Most of them call them non refundable deposits, which is a fee. I even understand that as long as it's not crazy.

For my 23 lb spaniel it was $550.00 but I did get the deposit back. The company may want that money up front then take so much out of your check like $50.00 every pay period till the pet fee is paid.

    Two woofers.

Whew. You aint got much cab with them. But if they like truck I guess... yeesh... I don't have a problem with it as long you stay north on a three dog night. (Winter)

FFE allowed one pet in my time. Other companies I ran for usually didnt care about pets before then. But that started changing and becoming somewhat more restrictive. I don't recall dealing with FFE for our truck cat. It was a good cat but horrible at home. It belongs on the road.

Just curious..how the heck do you get the 120 lb dog in and out of the truck?

I had a 80 lb Golden retriever that I had to lift into my pickup truck every day....wasn't easy!
