Will do. I will try to have my post a little bit more detailed and show my miles for the week. Hoping it all goes good. Just wanted something with more pay and still have the miles I'm running here. Have 3200 miles on this pay period. Tyson really want you running your butt off.

KLLM is a good starting company. Unfortunately, I had to quit them after 6 months to take care of my kids after their mother went to prison. I left still under contact. It's been about 8 months since I quit and haven't found anyone that'll hire me. I gave up on looking for a trucking job long ago, but I can't even get a Mcdonald's job. Been to a lot of low paying places. Need anything just to take care of my kids. I'm stuck in Tecumseh Oklahoma. Been wanting to go to a homeless shelter in Texas, but not really wanting to take my kids there. But I'm from Texas, and I know it's easier finding work there. My truck driving days are over, but I loved the 6 short months I had doing it. Now, I just gotta start at something new somewhere.

Temp services are your best chance of employment. They even hire cdl drivers for day to day work.

I'm signed up for the 3 temp services that I know of in Shawnee, OK. May need to do some in Oklahoma City also.

Never say your truck drive days are over. Never say that unless you committed homicide by CMV or something. There were a few times in life I thought my time was over with CMV due to certain problems that I created at times or... intractable issues with discriminatory people in certain company offices which I wont bring up here. God knows I understand being deaf is touchy to some people and to actually drive truck? Managers sometime have a problem. Sheesh. That's very mild compared to what is possible when it comes to choosing not hiring someone.

What you might consider doing is bucket truck work or maybe quarry work where you are. Im not familiar anymore with Oklahoma outside of Kit Carson area which is a favorite spot of mine, so easy to get into get a meal and leave. Peaceful too. But you wont find work in that town. I think like 50 people there. I might be 51 but I wont be happy there.

Anyhow, another path would be dump truck work. Sometimes there are certain checks and things like DAC that dump truck people don't care about and hire you anyway as ours did with me a few years,. it was literally a workaround when the CMV people wont hire me back then. I could probably hop into that old mack and get to work now if I was still there. (Like that's going over very well with my spine ugh...) but it is what it is.

Since this is my last week my truck decided to give me an scr system fault. Not only that but my batteries are going bad. There goes any chance of getting my money back from my maintenance account. Sitting here at volvo in Kansas City, Mo.

    AW.

    Smile.

Call your family, kids or special other. Have a good afternoon. Let them sweat over that backstabbing truck lol. Call it a parting gift. But only cheer up. Don't get mean and onery over a few dollars.

It's not trucking if something did not happen right at the end. I hate to say it you are getting out easy. I have stories first hand where people have driven towards home retiring at 65 only to be destroyed in a wreck. So... cheer up.
