They hire you as a company driver, but put you down on paper as an o/o. They do not tell you that. That makes you wonder why you never see a paycheck. Their turnover rate is at like 80%. They have more excuses for no paychecks than Carter has liver pill's.

I know when i was there. years ago. I never seen a pay check, and advances were hard to come by. They were mostly company drivers there, now i see more owner ops. I heard that the Spoerl's are only about 20% ownership in the company. People lease is the majority share holder with their own people at spoerl running things. Maybe they have gotten better.

 

Many companies have, or had been around for many years. This does not make them a good company. I can think of several companies that screw the drivers, hire them as a company driver, but on paper have them down as an O/O for tax reasons, or such.

 

I have heard that the Corporation People Lease bought a majority of the company, put in there own people. So has the company gotten better. I cannot say. Look under their facebook page under reviews.
