Big Loads - Post Photos Number 2

Well Liebherr's website lists it at 101,450 without rope, 102,515 with optional telescopic undercarriage. It has a rope capacity of 1870 feet of rope per winch X 2.75 pounds per foot for a potential total of 10,285. That would put the machine at 111,785, so it might be about what it should weigh. I know most machines tend to be heavier than they're listed in my experience.

 

This one is new from the factory - they booked it at 99k for just the upper and lower.

It will work out as I always pad the permits some.

 

My experience the factory is usually light on their figures, as you can see.

 

I have 2 questions...

1)Why are you surprised? It was on a boat, and they charge by the ton...ever seen a Cat scale for a boat? Oh right, cause the shipper said so.

2)What the heck are you complaining about? They put a fancy plywood cab cover on it. If you have ever had to try protecting the windows/cabs on those things you'd know better that to post that photo and then complain...

Ok, it was three questions, but one was rhetorical...
You could have just asked, I've got notes on three of them in Book of Knowledge, and they're all listed at 110&change...
