Where do you current drivers park your truck/trailer when you are on hometime? I have a TA truck stop at my hometown about 10 miles from my house. Do you drop your trailer and bobtail home? Do you leave your truck and trailer somewhere and get picked up by someone to take you home. Do you leave your personal vehicle where you park your truck/trailer?

99% of the time it's parked at my warehouse, if I have work to do I'll bring it home.

Park at T/A and risk getting towed unless you have Mgmt permission, plus risk getting fuel stolen or truck broken into. DO NOT just park and have Mama roll up in your Honda civic to load up suitcase and dirty laundry etc. Because someone will see you and then help themselves to your stuff.

Same with parking at the local abandoned K-Mart lot....it's obvious the truck is un-attended. You're in luck if your terminal is just around the corner from your house. That's where you park.

Park both there. Close the curtains. Check on it daily. Park toward the back of the lot. That's what I do.

On a side street near a Walmart if I'm MT. Otherwise, company yard.

I park at my house. My driveway will hold two 18 wheelers and about 6 four wheelers but I live out in the country.

If I am going to be home for more than a weekend I sometimes drop my empty trailer 3 miles away at a lot behind the Waffle House in my town where about 7-8 trucks are parked every weekend.

My driveway is big enough for a truck, but not truck and trailer.

The TA near me has reserved parking and I would say I could do that and pay or maybe get management approval to leave a trailer on their lot for a couple days.

Then when I stop at that TA for the night the place will be full of drivers taking their hometime.
