Whats good flatbed company I could lease onto, paying ~$2.00+ to the truck?
Current company has cheap freight or no freight at all. Currently sitting in Little Rock AR and they cant get me load out of there here. Thet expect me to bounce as far as Oklahoma City.

Why the heck would you bounce to okc? Memphis is much closer and is a great market for a flatbed.

Apparently not what my carrier thinks...
Called me with loads from Oklahoma and Texas off of CHR loadboard. Basically garbage that noone else took so far.

Your carrier sucks then, Little Rock has always been an easy pace for me to get out of. Its like Nashville, Omaha, Newark, Phili, Memphis, Birmingham, Houston, Lexington, Atlanta, Cleveland,.. all easy in, easy out for open deck with lots and lots of $2+ mi loads. Thats just the posted loadboard junk.

Right now its almost the end of the month in Aug. I've noticed a little bit of a slow down the freight I've been moving since March. Time to switch it up a bit,.. be versatile. Some very good paying over weight loads out of NJ to Houston area right now. $780 in permits and still netting over $3 mi after fuel.

Find a carrier in which you can find and book your own loads. It took me a while,.. but I have developed a strategy in which I am dealing directly with brokers who have loads going to places that I have other brokers who have loads that are going places to where I have some other brokers,.. so on and so on. Phone calls,.. lots and lots of phone calls. Cant be bashful in this business.

    Good luck brother.
