I am not hating on you at all. I am just trying to have it clear in your mind that finding good paying work is the more difficult part than buying a truck and getting the authority and insurance.
Those huge shipping companies I would doubt they want anything to do with someone who owns 1 truck.
Regardless, I would advise you call them before you go getting your authority and equipment to make sure your plan is good and they are willing to work with you. Don't assume you will pickup the phone and they will be like "oh God we are so glad you called we are ready to pay you 1500 a day to move some cans around for us!" It won't happen. I'm not trying to be a dick I'm trying to help you with the path forward. If you already have the work lined up then everything I say here is a moot point.

I have a Anderson hay contact in Ellensburg. But ya basically that's what I am hoping for -
I just have one question for you
Have you made contact with any of these sources if revenue? Or are you going to get your company fired up and then make contact? -

Consider what path you will take if you go ahead and get it fired up, make contact, and are told by shipping company - we don't use 1 truck carriers. Then are told by other fleets, xpo for example, we don't broker out our port work. Or if we do you get whatever is left over. 3. Brokers and they tell you the rate is absolute junk.
What do you do now? -
