Trucks banned at new rest stop? I-5 at Ashland.

    i just read that commercial trucks will be BANNED at the new RA being constructed on I-5 north at Ashland! (Bottom of Siskiyou Pass) We're supposed to use the rest room facilities at the weigh station a few miles north....

    You're supposed to use the toilet facilities at the abundant truck stops all up and down I-5, while doing your 10 hr break. Over and out.

    It's a good thing that no California driver's taxes are going towards paying for that rest area then!

    Oh wait...

    It's like all of these states making us wait in construction to build a PrePass lane with our tax money that they won't even let us use after it is complete but they will still make more money off of it.

    This country is so screwed up.

    Don't forget, There are quite a few rest area's that do have truck parking after the first weigh station. Washington state has more issue's with big trucks then Oregon.

    The new rest area they're buikding? It definitely will have truck parking as theres trucks/RVs sign and cars keep right already posted on the pole
